Loopt is a company based on Fun!
Loopt began in Summer 2005 with seed funding from Y Combinator[9], a venture firm specializing in early stage startups. That summer, Stanford sophomores Sam Altman and Nick Sivo worked to build the first prototype of Loopt. They were later joined by Alok Deshpande as well as two of Sam’s childhood friends, Rick & Tom Pernikoff[10].
Loopt received US$5 million in Series A funding from Sequoia Capital and New Enterprise Associates and struck a deal to launch the service on Boost Mobile devices in September 2006. Boost Mobile featured Loopt in a series of commercials that are most known for the “Where you at?” tag line[11].
In August 2007, Loopt expanded the service to select Sprint phones, and in June 2008, to Verizon. Loopt announced support for most GPS-enabled Blackberries on June 13, 2008[12]. Loopt received US$8.25 million in Series B funding in July 2007.
In February 2008, Loopt and CBS did a deal to deliver location based advertising[13]. Seven months later, Loopt released an opt-in feature in Loopt's iPhone application called, Loopt Mix, which uses location-based services to enable iPhone users to find and meet new people nearby.
At Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2008, Sam Altman presented the Loopt application for the iPhone. Loopt for the iPhone became available in the Apple iTunes App Store on July 11, 2008.
In the summer of 2008, Loopt sponsored Black20.com's The Middle Show with host Dave Price.
In October 2008, Loopt was sued by Earthcomber for patent infringement.[14] The case was dropped by Earthcomber in March 0f 2009[15].
In February 2009, Loopt expanded service again to select AT&T phones, making it the first service since SMS available across all major networks.

Making Friends: Help for ADHD Adults
Who needs friends? We all do! Research shows that people who have many friends live longer and have fewer illnesses than people with few friends.
But adults with attention deficit disorder (ADD ADHD) often need a bit of relationship advice. They may have trouble making and keeping friends. No wonder: When you're afraid you might say or do something offensive, or if you have trouble following conversations, social interaction isn't relaxing and energizing. It's emotionally draining.
"I work all week," one of my clients explained. "Then, on weekends, I'm expected to socialize. People don't understand that, for me, that is work, too." If this sounds like you, fight the urge to opt out of socializing. It may never be second nature, but there are ways to make it easier:
Engage in the social activities you enjoy the most (or dislike the least).
Movies, concerts, and other outings that require little conversation are less draining than parties, dinners, and such conversation-heavy activities. Vigorous sports, including tennis, racquetball, basketball, and aerobics classes, allow for even less talk, while offering opportunity to move around.
When you do go out to dinner, an informal, buffet-style arrangement may be a better choice than a sit-down meal, where sustained conversation is expected. A buffet setting gives hyperactive types a chance to get up frequently; it lets inattentive types take breaks to "regroup" before rejoining the conversation.
Keep things simple.
Social events don't have to be elaborate affairs. How about hosting a potluck dinner? Or meeting friends at a coffee shop, taking a walk around the neighborhood together, or simply inviting them over to watch TV with you?
There's also nothing wrong with asking a friend to come along when you have to go to the grocery store or car repair shop. Running errands with a friend lets you be sociable while knocking something off your to-do list. Double-dipping at its best!
Make a list of your friends.
This is an easy way to stay current with your friends and acquaintances. To create it, comb through your address book, cell phone directory, and your e-mail inbox. Look over the list once a week or so. See if there is anyone you want to call or have lunch with.
Some ADDers use such a list as a "friend journal," noting each time they see or talk to a particular person. Knowing when you were last in touch helps you avoid going too long before your next contact.

Strength and Courage

Suzy Marie, you are a strong and courageous little lady with a heart of gold,I love you.
First. I'm sorry it has taken over six mouth for you too have found out. It's not something I talk about. It cause myself and family lots of pain.
I didn't even know how to write back, you had me in tires. I thank you so much for showing me so much love and support. Its in the pass and there is nothing I can do about it but to move forward. I've only been in this much pain, other then the time when my Dad pass away, may he R.I.P. Even at my age sometime I just don't understand and maybe never will. How there could be people so anger and so unkind.
In this very sad issue. There has been lots of good that has come out of it,and that's how I have to look at it. I know now, I have great friends, but great friend,as it tried to drag me down, all it did was,to help me. I see that now, with the help of my friends and family. So many people came to my side. I've seen so much love and support with all this that has taken place then anything else.
Life is easier than we think:All you have to do is accept the impossible,do without the indispensable, bear the intolerable, and be able to smile at anything. I hold my head up high and walk with grace every day. That's something my sister told me,when all this was going on. Those worlds will never leave my mind.
T take it one day at a time, and I don't look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone.It doesn't trouble me any more. I've learn so much from all this. I really I'm strong and I really do have worth. You learn to build your roads and do your path in life.
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I've lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
At the end of the day,it showed me I had so much Strength and Courage.
Thank you so much, love you so much,Alexis xoxoxo

Stress
Most recently, we are all sharing in the fallout of the current economic downturn, which the American Psychological Association has identified as a major source of stress for all Americans. But mental health experts urge us not to despair. When challenges arise, whether the result of current events, a job loss, or family issues, “there are a whole variety of simple, yet healthy ways of coping and moving forward,” says Lisa M. Najavits, PhD, a professor of psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine and a lecturer at Harvard Medical School.
Stress and Mental Health: Coping Strategies
Here are some tips from mental health experts for coping with the challenging everyday issues arising in these turbulent times:
Plan ahead. Lay out a strategy for what you would do if you were laid off or if you found you couldn’t pay your mortgage or other bills. “It’s always better to have a plan,” says Edward M. Hallowell, MD, author of Connecting/Worry in the Workplace, and CrazyBusy: Overstretched, Overbooked and About to Snap! and founder of the Hallowell Center for Cognitive and Emotional Health in Sudbury, Mass. “Even if the plan doesn’t work, it makes you feel more in control. The worst kind of stress is when you feel you have no control. Having a plan to deal with whatever the issue is makes you feel less vulnerable.”
Talk it out. Never worry alone, Dr. Hallowell says. “Hold onto your human connections. Stay in touch with your friends and family. Stay in touch with the people you can confide in and brainstorm solutions for your troubles with them.” Becoming isolated will only make matters worse, he says. Najavits adds that joining support groups, either online or in person, may help you focus on what you can do about your situation and see what has worked for others.
Get a reality check. Make sure you get all the facts, Hallowell says. Very often, peoples’ worries are based on misinformation or rumors and gossip. You may be worrying over nothing. Go to the source and get the information you need to make solid decisions.
Live a healthy lifestyle. Many people drown their sorrows in food or unhealthy behaviors such as drinking or smoking. Some people lose sleep when they’re distraught, Hallowell says, but it is important to get enough sleep. Eating right and getting regular physical exercise can go a long way in relieving daily stress, Najavits agrees.
Reflect on your situation. In addition to talking with others, look within, Najavits says. “Try to get a sense of what’s behind your feelings. If you’re feeling angry, hopeless, panicky, or anxious, ask yourself, ‘How did I get here?’ Own up to what you did and what you had no control over. If you figure out what got you where you are, you can begin to look forward and figure out what to do next.”
Find faith. Studies have shown that daily prayer and/or meditation can be major stress reducers, Hallowell says.
Seek out professionals. If it’s money matters that have you up nights, you may need the advice of credit counselors or financial planners. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, you might want to speak to a psychologist or psychiatrist who can help you through your difficult time.
Many people are feeling stressed by the news of the day and the challenges of modern life. But you can prevent family and workplace stresses from taking their toll on you if you follow simple, yet healthy ways of coping. Most importantly, communicate with those who can help you.

Sweetening A Sour Apple
When A Bad Apple Spoils the Bunch Because life requires that we interact with different personalities, it is not uncommon for us to encounter a situation where there is one person whose behavior may negatively impact the experiences of others. Someone who is loud and crass can interrupt the serenity of those who come together to practice peace. A disruptive worker can cause rules to be imposed that affect their colleagues’ professional lives. A team member who is pessimistic or highly critical may destroy the morale of their fellow members. And one “bad apple” in your personal life can be a potent distraction that makes it difficult to focus on the blessings you’ve been given and the people who love you. There may always be people in your life who take it upon themselves to create disruption, foster chaos, stamp out hope, and act as if they are above reproach – even when, in doing so, they put a blight on their own experiences. But you don’t need to allow their negativity and callousness to sour your good mood. Often, our first impulse upon coming head-to-head with a bad apple is to express our anger and frustration in no uncertain terms. However, bad apples only have the power to turn our lives sour if we let them. If you can exercise patien ce and choose not to respond to their words or actions, you will significantly limit the effect they are able to have on you and your environment. You can also attempt to encourage a bad apple to change their behavior by letting your good behavior stand as an example. If your bad apple is simply hoping to attract notice, they may come to realize that receiving positive attention is much more satisfying than making a negative impression. While you may be tempted to simply disassociate yourself entirely from a bad apple, consider why they might be inclined to cause disturbances. Understanding their motivation can help you see that bad apples are not necessarily bad people. Though bad apples are a fact of life, minimizing the impact you allow them to have upon you is empowering because you are not letting anyone else affect the quality of your experiences. You may discover that buried at the very heart of a bad apple is a seed of goodness.

Types of Psychic Powers
There is not just one "way" to be psychic, there are many types of psychic powers that can present themselves to you during the course of your journey. Here is a short list of some of the most common types of psychic powers:
Diviners - These individuals have a gift for the ability to associate events and personal traits to common objects (like tarot cards, runes, I Ching Coins, etc), and identify what is likely to happen in a person's life. A skill in divining is one of the most common types of psychic abilities, but that is not to say that they are any less gifted than anyone else.
Clairvoyant – A clairvoyant is a person who can "see" images of a far off place or time. These kinds of psychics tend to be reclusive or secretive about their skills because they would be considered loony by most of the world if it got out that they could see things others couldn't. This is one of the rarest types of psychic abilities, and one that takes a great deal of time and training to nourish.
Clairaudient – A clairaudient is someone who can hear voices from a different place or time. This talent is similar to clairvoyancy, and is often shared by mediums and telepaths.
Medium – A medium talks to spirits, often with the help of a client, or a group of mediums who can help channel energy. These kinds of psychics often share a number of related skills, and have a vast storage of energy from which to draw, but are often unable to practice their art alone. If you find that you have premonitions of deceased individuals, it is likely that you have some skill in the art of mediumship.
Telepath – A telepath is someone who can read the mind of another individual. This is another relatively common psychic skill, though again, the depth to which you can train your mind to perform this task is wide and deep. I have personally met people with this type of psychic ability who could read the minds of specific individuals without them even being in the room, and can cause other psychics to have visions of them at any time or place. This is a powerful skill.
Dreamwalkers – Dreamwalkers are individuals who have the ability to receive messages through dreams. Often times, these types of psychics practice astral projection and lucid dreaming, giving them extra control over what happens to their spirit while they are asleep.

One Last Time to Say, "I Love You"
One is that you just be aware that it is possible.
The other thing is that you not be afraid.
When a person passes on they are no longer in pain. They do not care about your circumstances, but they still love you. And, if they didn't love you before they love you now. The issues we have with people in our lives who have passed on become one-sided. All of those issues are now on your side. The Person in Spirit doesn't care that they had a life-long feud with you. The Person in Spirit doesn't care that you betrayed them. The Person in Spirit loves you like nobody you've ever had love you before in your life.
The Person in Spirit might have had a wasting away disease. They may have lost the use of their body. Their hair might have all fallen out prior to their passing. They might have looked like crap. But, now? In Spirit they are whole and healthy. They might even appear to be younger than they were when they passed on.
They are not moldering in grave dust and dripping with ghoulish zombie like stuff. So, you can file that little factoid away in your brain and not be afraid of what they are actually going to look like if and when they visit
The process of having a visit from Someone in Spirit is very much the same as leaning how to channel. You've got to want to do it and then you have to stop with the yearning. So, wanting and wanting and wanting to dream of your daughter who is dead, or your husband who has passed on is going to put a stick in the spoke of your progress. Wanting deeply and then surrendering completely the want is what will finally make it happen
Sometimes just knowing that it can happen is all that it will take.

Types of psychic reading
Most psychic readings do not usually use any tools and can include face-to-face readings such as in-person readings at home, psychic party readings for a group, and the less detailed and shorter psychic fair readings. Distant readings include internet readings, phone readings and mail readings. In some rare cases, a method of psychic sensing known as remote viewing is used.
Palm reading
Some of the lines of the hand in Palmistry1: Life line - 2: Head line - 3: Heart line - 4: Girdle of Venus - 5: Sun line - 6: Mercury line - 7: Fate line
Palm reading
"What I do Best"
Palmistry is another popular method of giving readings, involving characterization and foretelling of one's future through the study of the lines, shapes, wrinkles and curves on the palm. Palmistry can be studied and learnt and does not need any psychic ability.
Rune Reading
Runes are an ancient alphabet used for divining the future. The runes are cast on a mat to discern future events or path a problem or issue will take. Runes are also considered magick and are used for spells and incantations by some witches.
Astrology
Astrology involves the reading of an individual and predicting of their future based upon their date of birth, based on the alignments of the planets and stars. Astrology is an ancient practice and pre-dates many scientific methods of astral observation. Astrology can be studied and learnt and does not need any psychic ability.
Cartomancy or Playing Card Reading
The reading of playing cards is also a method some psychics use to conduct a psychic reading. This is done with playing cards that are shuffled by the querent and laid out in a spread by the psychic and is then interpreted by the reader. The difference between this and tarot readings is that a deck of regular playing cards are used rather than a tarot card deck.
Distant readings
Distant readings are conducted many times without the reader ever meeting or speaking to the client. The client asks questions pertaining to his or her life and a psychic uses intuitive senses to determine a probable outcome or solution to those questions. At times this practice is similar to methods used for remote viewing and healing. This method dispenses with the possibility of the reader picking up on visual or verbal cues evident in face to face or telephone readings.
Aura reading
Aura psychic reading involves the observation and interpretation of auras around physical human bodies. The "aura" is a set of cascading colored outlines emanating from the surface of the body which differ from one person to another in terms of size, shape, intensity, and color. Aura readers claim to have the ability to see or sense this aura, observe each characteristic and interpret their meaning to the individual.
Tarot reading
Tarot reading does not need psychic abilities. A deck of 78 cards known as the Tarot is used to predict and interpret relationships, love, careers, etc. The tarot is also used for spiritual, esoteric, psychological, occult and divinatory purposes. Tarot reading tends to have a great deal of variation, since each card in the Tarot, as well as the order in which they appear, and their position within the 'spread' when dealt, have different specific meanings. The meaning of each tarot card is also open to the interpretation of the Tarot reader, and the same set of cards may have two different meanings to two different readers.
Psychometry readings
Psychometry is a form of postcognition which enables the psychic reader to receive information about people, events or objects associated with events that have already occurred, or are occurring in the present, by being in close contact with the area or object where the event took or is taking place. Commercial psychometry readers often ask the subject for their favorite and most meaningful objects, such as wedding rings, glasses, car keys, etc., for the reading. The belief is that objects which are in close proximity to a person for extended periods of time hold some of that person's energy; energy which can be detected. This method is often used to try and locate missing persons.
Numerology
Numerology is defined as the study of the occult meanings of numbers and their influence on human life. It is essentially a reading of an individual based specifically upon numerical values such as their date of birth, letters in their names, etc.
Numerology was once considered part of higher mathematics in the ancient world[citation needed]. Numerology is not a form of psychic reading.

Chiromancy Chiromancy or cheiromancy.
Chiromancy or cheiromancy, (Greek cheir (χειρ), "hand"; manteia (μαντεία), "divination"), is the art of characterization and foretelling the future through the study of the palm, also known as palmistry, palm-reading, chirology or hand analysis. The practice is found all over the world, with numerous cultural variations. Those who practice chiromancy are generally called palmists, palm readers, hand readers, hand analysts, or chirologists.
Palmistry can trace its roots back to Indian (Hindu) Astrology (known in Sanskrit as Jyotish) and Roma (gypsy) fortune tellers. The Hindu sage Valmiki is thought to have written a book, whose title translates in English as "The Teachings of Valmiki Maharshi on Male Palmistry", comprising 567 stanzas, more than 5,000 years ago. From India, the art of palmistry spread to China, Tibet, Egypt, Persia and to other countries in Europe[citation needed]. Palmistry came to China in around 3,000 B.C.[citation needed] It then progressed to Greece[citation needed] where Anaxagoras practiced it. However, modern palmists often combine traditional predictive techniques with psychology, holistic healing, and alternative methods of divination.
The practice of chiromancy is generally regarded as a pseudoscience. It should be noted that the information outlined below is briefly representative of modern palmistry; there are many ― often conflicting ― interpretations of various lines and palmar features across various "schools" of palmistry.
TechniquesChiromancy consists of the practice of evaluating a person's character or future life by "reading" the palm of that person's hand. Various "lines" ("heart line", "life line", etc.) and "mounts" (or bumps) (chirognomy) , purportedly suggest interpretations by their relative sizes, qualities, and intersections. In some traditions, readers also examine characteristics of the fingers, fingernails, fingerprints and palmar skin patterns (dermatoglyphics), skin texture and color, shape of the palm, and flexibility of the hand.
A reader usually begins by reading the person's 'dominant hand' (the hand he or she writes with or uses the most). In some traditions of palmistry, the other hand is believed to carry past-life or karmic information, as well as hereditary traits.
The basic framework for "Classical" palmistry (the most widely taught and practiced tradition) is rooted in Greek mythology. Each area of the palm and fingers is related to a god or goddess, and the features of that area indicate the nature of the corresponding aspect of the subject. For example, the ring finger is associated with the Greek god Apollo; characteristics of the ring finger are tied to the subject's dealings with art, music, aesthetics, fame, wealth, and harmony.

ESP
ESP is most commonly called the "sixth sense." It is sensory information that an individual receives which comes beyond the ordinary five senses sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. It can provide the individual with information of the present, past, and future; as it seems to originate in a second, or alternate reality. History: The term "ESP" was used in 1870 by Sir Richard Burton. A French researcher, Dr. Paul Joire, in 1892 used the term ESP to describe the ability of person who had been hypnotized or were in a trance state to externally sense things without using their ordinary senses. However, the phenomena of ESP activity has been indicated much earlier, some say even in Biblical times. Although there is no clear evidence as to the certainty of the phenomena it has attracted the attention and enthusiasm of many throughout the centuries. In the 1920's a Munich ophthalmologist, Dr. Rudolph Tischner, used ESP in describing the "externalization of sensibility." Then in the 1930s the American parapsychologist J. B. Rhine popularized the term to include psychic phenomena similar to sensory functions. Rhine was among the first parapsychologists to test ESP phenomena in the laboratory. The first systematic study of ESP was conducted in 1882, when the Society for Psychical Research was founded n London. The journals of this society Proceedings and Journal were published as well as other publications in the United States and the Netherlands. Soon other countries were reporting similar findings. However, these first studies of ESP were rarely experimental. The studies consisted of mostly spontaneous incidents that were located. Many of the individuals studied were self-claimed "sensitives" or psychics. Rarely were they examined under anything resembling laboratory conditions. The researchers conducting the examinations resembled prosecuting lawyers. The subjects were bombarded with questions, those standing up the best were judged creditable. The Rhine experiments: The first card-guessing ESP experiments were conducted by Rhine at Duke University in 1930. The cards consisted of five designs, now called ESP symbols, a square, a circle, a plus sign, a five pointed star, and a set of three wavy lines. The symbols were printed singly, in black ink, on cards resembling playing cards. In the classic Rhine experiments on ESP, the subject tries to guess or "call" the order of the five symbols when they are randomly arranged in a deck of 25 ESP cards. The likelihood of calling a card correctly by chance is one in five. Therefore, it is possible to calculate how often a particular score is likely to occur by chance in a given number of calls. It was Rhine'' argument that when his subjects made high scores that could be expected by chance only once in a thousand tries, or once in a million, they displayed "extrachance" results, or ESP. The early experiments faced several criticisms. Two were automatically dismissed: (1) The statistics were unsound which was refuted by the president of the American Mathematical Association. (2) That ESP is physical impossibility which begs the question. Several appropriate criticisms were accepted by Rhine which he used to improve his experiments. Examples are: (1) There may have been sensory cues. An example of this is that if a strong light shined on the back of the ESP cards, it might be possible to see the symbol through the back. Currently to avoid this possibility the target card is covered by an oblique shielding, or kept far from the subject. (2) An experimenter that knows the target might whisper it or otherwise give a cue to the subject. Presently no one in contact with the subject knows the target. (3) More hits might be recorded than actually occurred.. Currently hits and responses are recorded by machine or by someone not knowing either. Three criticism remain: (1) The "file drawer" effect. Only favorable results are published. Larger experimental data like one in a million make this unlikely. (2) Results are inconsistent and not repeatable. This can be remedied statistically. (3) Charges of fraud. Can be refuted by other reputable investigators obtaining similar results. There was a finding which seemed puzzling until better understood. While some label it "missing-ESP" it might be thought of as reverse-ESP too. It is found among subject who dislike ESP. Even though the subjects were consciously trying to achieve good scores, they scored lower than chance. An unconscious factor seemed to come into play here. Experimenters have found they can predict higher scores for some groups (for example, those who are interested and relaxed), and lower scores for other groups (those who show fear, negativity, or boredom). The factor of missing-ESP indicates why ESP data is unreliable. More recently computer games are increasingly being used to test ESP. The computer is programmed so that a random series determines the targets, and the subjects attempt to outguess the computer. Another factor that researchers and experimenters must watched for in ESP and all psychical experiments is preconceived or previously learned knowledge. This concerns any knowledge which might influence the subject's activity. For example, a person might say she sensed her son would telephone her on that certain day at that specific time. If the son had previously called her in such a fashion, then her sensation must be suspect for it might have been based upon knowledge of her son's previous performance. A person might strongly feel that he would receive an email message from a friend on a certain day, and he does; but, can this be considered a ESP phenomenon considering that this person had not head from the other person for sometime and was expecting the message. The point being made is that when dealing with psychic phenomena all factors must be considered when examining the performance. ESP in General: In New Frontiers of the Mind (1937) Rhine said that ESP experiments were changing the way people thought the mind sensed information. Historically learned people held the human mind received information through the ordinary five senses, and that therefore, the mind is subject to the laws of the mechanical world. Laboratory tests have attempted to determine the existence of ESP, and discover the physical mechanism by which it operates. "The mind has been equated with the brain, and scientists search to discover how ESP registers in the brain/mind." However, increasing evidence is demonstrating that ESP does exist, but it cannot be explained or quantified by physical laws; and furthermore, that the mind (consciousness) and the brain are two separate entities. Simultaneously, research in quantum physics points to the existence of a second, nonmaterial universe. So, the time is fast approaching when Western scientists must come to terms with the Eastern mystical concept: "that an extrasensory force exists in another realty, and intersects and integrates with the physical world." In function, ESP is dissimilar to the ordinary senses. There is no location like governs the other senses which receive information through various parts of the body; and it is not dependent on any of the other five senses. ESP is independent of such factors as geography, time, intelligence, age, or education. ESP has been given various names. In the 19th century is was called "cryptesthesia," later it was labeled "relesthesia" which since became clairvoyance, or "seeing in the distance." It was Rhine who coined the term "general extrasensory perception" (GESP) to include both telepathy and clairvoyance. Later the term psi was designated to cover ESP and PK. It was researcher Lousia E. Rhine who proposed the theory that ESP starts in the unconscious, a storehouse of memories, hopes and fears. At this point a contact is made between the objective world and the center of the mind. The person remains unaware of this contact until or unless the information is brought to the conscious level. Also, the psychiatrist Carl G. Jung proposed a similar theory that the conscious mind has subliminal psychic access to the collective unconscious, a vast repository of accumulative wisdom and experience of the human race. Others theories attempting to explain ESP have been produced. One such theory involved macrophages, cells present in connective tissue, lymph nodes, and bone marrow and tied to nerve endings. The person thought these might be the body's ESP organs, sending and receiving impressions below the normal perceptive level. Such cells are more sensitive and active during childhood, but deteriorate without proper diet. Some theories involve the discussion of two subconsciousnesses, the second one sometimes called the superconsciousness, soul, subliminal self, transcendent ego, dream self and several other terms. The argument rest on the hypothesis that two realities exist, the physical one and a second one. ESP can occur when there is a integration between both realities. This occurs infrequently only when the barriers between the realities are broken which does not happen often because if it did all unconscious thought would flood and overflow the conscious mind. A condition which the mind could not withstand. When considering types or forms that ESP might take dreams become an important factor, especially in relationship to the theory of two realities. Upon this basis dreams were separated into two categories: realistic, vivid having detailed imagery of the information conveyed, and intuition which includes "gut feelings." forebodings, and premonitions; and unrealistic dreams containing fantastical imagery and symbols. Hallucinations that relayed visual and auditory information also were included. Rhine suggested the reason for dreams being efficient carriers of ESP messages is because the barriers surrounding the conscious mind appear to be thinnest. It has been discovered that the natural tendency for ESP in individuals can be distorted by previous prejudices, thoughts, and conditioning. Likewise, inaccurate ESP messages may be the result of distortions and blockages of the conscious mind. However, in times of crisis such as accidents and death of loved ones, ESP messages seem to occur spontaneously. It is theorized that perhaps trauma and shock enable negative information to penetrate the subliminal barriers more easily than happy information. There are theories concerning individuals who possess ESP and how they acquired this ability. One theory holds that some people such as seers, prophets and diviners were bore with the gift which was inherited by their relatives. Another theory hold that it is.. a primordial sense which has decreased in populations as their cultures advanced. Still another theory claims ESP is a supersense which evolves in the nervous system. Psychical research does support the theory that everyone is born with ESP capability, though some may possess more than others. Most people have experienced at least one ESP experience in their lives. It was found in a survey published in 1987 by the University of Chicago's National Opinion Research Council, that 67 percent of all adult Americans believed they have experienced ESP. Eleven years earlier the figure was 58 percent. It was thought the increase indicates an increased acceptance of the possibility of ESP among the general public. A.G.H.

My Starbucks friends...BFF's
Friendship is the hardest thing in the world,to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.
A friend is somebody. Who knows you and likes you .Exactly the way that you are...Someone who's special. And so close in thought. That no distance can ever seem far.
And willingly talks over problems with you .Till they somehow just vanish from sight.
And whether you're neighbors or live miles apart,A word from a friend gives a lift .
To your heart and spirit that shows you once more. Why friendship is life's dearest gift!
A friend is one with whom you are comfortable,to whom you are loyal, through whom you are blessed, and for whom you are grateful.
Thank God they loves coffee as much as I do because it is the reasons why we became friends.

I enjoy the person that I am becoming. I hope that I go after my dreams, instead of just letting them pass me by.God, life, and love are the three greatest things I could have ever experienced. I know that love will overcome anything,I have to keep telling myself that, life will give me purpose, and God will be there to guide me through it all. I'm an extremely down-to-earth, loyal, open, honest, respectful person. I LOVE LOVE to laugh, I can't imagine life without laughter and I LOVE to be around people who make me laugh. Its an extremely attractive quality! There's nothing like that feeling when tears fill your eyes, your side cramps, and you can barely breathe because you're laughing sooo hard...you create a memory at that very moment with whomever you're sharing it with. I love talking candidly and openly about everything. Communication is key in any friendship/relationship. I can't stand judgmental, jealous, pretentious people...I have always been to naive and quick to think that all people are good but unfortunately not everyone is good.I'm always the first to lend a helping hand to whomever needs it...I love and care unconditionally...which is one of my best and worst qualities..it gets me in trouble a lot of times. I love dropping one-liners from my fa movies...I could go on forever just using them in conversation..lol! I use 'LOL' way too much, but that's because I'm always 'laughing out loud'!Oh!

Father's wisdom
"This is a tale narrated to me by my father about his father. Once upon a time when my father was in his teens, his father took him to the mosque to pray. My grandfather, it seems, had a habit of keeping his loose change in his shirt pocket. As they prayed side by side, during one of the prostrations, the coins fell down onto the carpet.Apparently deep in concentration, my grandfather did not notice it. However a gentleman seated nearby as well as my father noticed the incident. The man reacted fast and scooped the coins and went off into another corner of the mosque. My father took everything in and as soon as my grandfather finished praying, he started to narrate what transpired. My grandfather having heard just about what transpired stopped my Dad from telling him who took the money. He then proceeded to tell my Dad the following. If the Man has resorted to stealing in the mosque, then it must be because his circumstances are bad. We must not be quick to judge such people, he said. Since they owned a grocery shop, my father was told by his father to ensure that every month he should make up a parcel of all the bare necessities required in a household and send it to that person without telling him who it was being sent to. Wouldn't this world be a better place to live in if we had such wisdom permeating within our societies!"

(12.Jun.09) 'Twitpocalypse' Affecting Twitterrific for iPhone
We apologize for problems that iPhone and iPod touch Twitterrific users are currently experiencing due to the so-called Twitpocalypse. A fix for these issues was included in the 2.0.1 release to the App Store weeks ago, but the application is indeed returning errors at this time. Proof that it’s sometimes difficult to test for errors / conditions that happen in the future.
We are investigating a fix to the bug as we speak, but it may take some time to get the fix completed and through the App Store approval process. We will do our best to expedite a new version that corrects these problems to you, but we ask that you please have patience and bear with us. The Mac desktop version of Twitterrific appears to be unaffected.
We ask you to follow @twitterrific for the latest news on a bug fix as well as when you can expect the fix to appear in the App Store. Thank you.
